Tobias E. Rodriguez, Ph.D.

Dr. Rodriguez is a Vice President at AAL. He manages AAL’s national and international consulting portfolio of clients within higher education, health professions education, and related associations and corporations. Dr. Rodriguez received his doctorate in microbiology and immunology from the University of Michigan. Since then, he has worked extensively with students, faculty, and administration within higher education, academic health care, and related associations and corporations. He formerly served as a faculty member at the Louisiana State University Health Science Center and as an adjunct professor at the University of the Pacific Gladys L. Benerd School of Education.

Dr. Rodriguez’s expertise includes institutional effectiveness, national and international higher education accreditation processes, research design and methodology, grantsmanship and technical writing, curricular and programmatic development, strategic planning and business development, and trends in higher education. He has received accolades for excellence in teaching and for developing international standards on program reformation. Dr. Rodriguez is an international speaker on topics relating to trends in higher education, and currently serves on various boards in an advisory capacity.
