Patrick J. Ferrillo, Jr., D.D.S.

Dr. Ferrillo is a Senior Consultant at AAL and works extensively in the areas of curriculum development, strategic planning, and fund raising.

He earned his undergraduate degree at Georgetown University and his dental degree at Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry, where he completed specialty training in endodontics. A Fellow of both the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists, Dr. Ferrillo has served in directorial roles in the dental industry, including Young Innovation and, most recently, Heartland Dental Care.

For nine years, Dr. Ferrillo was Dean at the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry at the University of the Pacific. Prior to that, he was Vice Provost in the Division of Health Sciences and Dean of the University of Nevada – Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine from 2002 to 2006, and from 1985 to 2002, dean of Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. His long history of service to the field of dentistry includes roles as President, International Federation of Dental Educators and Associations (IFDEA); President, American Dental Education Association (ADEA); Chair, ADEA President’s Task Force on the Surgeon General’s Report on Oral Health; Chair, ADEA Council of Deans; and Chair, Board of Oral Health America. Dr. Ferrillo presently serves on numerous non-for-profit boards.
