Program Overview

The Institute for the Collaboration of Health Educators, or ICHE, is an interactive, interprofessional webinar series that discuss methods for achieving cooperative civility and effective performance in integrated health educational environments. Educators, professionals, and staff enhance necessary skills while synthesizing information and identifying strategies from multiple health disciplines.

The ICHE program provides live, online sessions, allowing maximum flexibility, convenience, and opportunity to learn from an extensive network of professionals. Participants will be able to examine unique problems from a variety of theoretical and practical perspectives, improving the way they absorb, retain, and transfer knowledge. Optional continuing education credits are also available across a variety of disciplines. Those who complete the the program will receive an AAL Institute for the Collaboration of Health Educators Certificate.

ICHE online courses teaches participants:

  • How to encourage learners to adopt diverse roles
  • Developing constructive methods to tackle complex problems
  • Strategies for implementing case-based learning
  • Creation of real-world, relevant cases for multidisciplinary learning
