Interprofessional Deans
Leadership Program

Interactive professional development program customized to the needs of senior academic leaders of Interprofessional Education Collaborative (IPEC) member associations' schools. The IPEC Interprofessional Deans Leadership Program (IDLP) is distinguished by an emphasis on leading in an interprofessional environment.

The three-day workshop is specifically tailored for deans and other senior academic administrators with five or fewer years of experience from IPEC member associations’ schools.

IPEC envisions a future in which interprofessional collaborative practice drives safe, high-quality, accessible, person-centered care, as well as improved population health outcomes. This inspiring vision is the driving force behind the IPEC IDLP.

This three-day, interprofessional experience will provide deans and other senior academic administrators with professional enrichment activities to help them become better leaders of their faculty and staff, and more effective managers of their home institutions. This inaugural program is intended for senior leaders with five or fewer years of experience and distinguished by an emphasis on leading in an interprofessional environment.

The IPEC IDLP has been specifically designed to meet the needs of new senior leaders in health professions education from IPEC member schools.

Applicant Qualifications:

Participants in the IPEC IDLP should be a dean or senior administrator in an academic setting. Click here for more information.


Tuition for the program will be $3,600, which includes all program materials, meals, and three nights lodging at the Grand Hyatt Washington located at 1000 H Street, NW, Washington, DC.
