For 60 years, it has been the mission of The University of Puerto Rico, School of Dental Medicine (UPR SDM) to train and educate the dentists of tomorrow as they set out to serve the people of Puerto Rico, the Caribbean, the United States, and Ibero-America. As a leader of teaching and research on the prevailing conditions of community oral health, UPR SDM in partnership with the Academy for Academic Leadership (AAL) has launched the Center for Leading and Learning (CLL).
The CLL initiative was launched to promote health through organized efforts designed to train, develop, and empower community and academic leaders to assure they have the management and leadership skills needed to effectively serve their patients, organizations, and communities. This bi-annual conference series will provide professional development programs for healthcare professionals, faculty, and students.
