(Next Session Offered in 2018)
CAAMP II is a 2-day workshop designed exclusively for alumni of CAAMP to provide practical advice for effectively shaping a culture of excellence in an academic environment. Class size is limited to ensure all participants receive attention to help them address their specific leadership and management challenges.
To help you continue to grow as an academic leader, you will discover new ways to reframe issues and overcome obstacles through case studies, small-group discussions, and role-playing sessions.
The next session of CAAMP II will take place in 2018. Please check back for details on the next offering of this program.
“CAAMP II is a natural progression in leadership development after experiencing the foundational information of CAAMP and highly recommended to those who would like to continue learning more about effective leadership in the academic setting.”
- Dr. Jean Pawl, Augusta University, College of Nursing
“The magic of AAL is that you are receiving high-level information in a very friendly setting. You hardly realize you are learning so much and the time flies by.”
- Dr. Marlene Salas-Provance, New Mexico State University, College of Education
“As a long time educator I know how difficult it can be to maintain the interest of busy professionals during presentations. In CAAMP II, as in CAAMP I, the combination of relevant topics and superb presenters who know how to engage the participants is extraordinary. After CAAMP I, I told my colleagues that it was the best CE experience I had ever had. CAAMP II was even better! Congratulations on a superb program.”
- Dr. Steven E. Roberts, Boston University, Goldman School of Dental Medicine
“CAAMP II provided the opportunity to apply the concepts from CAAMP while stepping into the next level of academic leadership.”
- Dr. Debbie Shelton, Arkansas State University, College of Nursing & Health Professions
“I recommend CAAMP II as an essential continuum for all leaders who participated in CAAMP.”
- Dr. Kalu Ogbureke, University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, School of Dentistry
