Professional development is the ongoing learning and instruction that individuals need to stay on the leading-edge of their fields. These courses and programs are designed to help foster better teachers and more efficient leaders.

AAL designs and facilitates professional development courses for administrators, staff, faculty, and students. Each customized professional development program is designed to meet the needs and expectations of the participants and the sponsoring organization. All curriculum is based on AAL’s vast experiences within higher education, and is rooted in the work-force studies, competencies, and expert assessments that AAL provides. The programming can be tailored to be an individual workshop or an ongoing series of online and onsite seminars; with topics including leadership, teaching, research, and career development.
